#7 – 8.29 - The Sunder Foundation’s incredible “Cultural Collaboration Celebration 2026” in Joshua Tree. What a joyful celebration of Indian dress, food, culture, dance and tradition! The colors were dazzling, the food delicious, the music and dancing exhilarating, and the spirit of friendship and cultural unity filled the evening. My thanks to Dr. Sunder and the Sunder Foundation for bringing people together for such a beautiful and memorable celebration. An extraordinary evening in the High Desert! #6 - Prayers for our 94-year-old Gypsy today as he enters hospice. I love you Gyp, always will. We've been "family" since 1969 in NYC. I will NEVER forget EVERYTHING we've talked about and shared. Neither will my children and grandchildren, or ALL OF PALM SPRINGS and probably the Universe. Blessings Gyp.

#5 - R.I.P. Dolly Parton. 1.19.1946-8.25.2026. I've got the belt buckle she wore from "Best Little Whore House" for when I did the show. What a gifted, gracious, glorious gal. NEVER DUPLICATED, EVER. Fun fact; we "dressed" the gals/whores out of my closet during the show's run. Oh My!!!

#4 - "A Night to Remember" Aug., 24, Marty Wiviott, Charles Duggan and I were treated to a trip up (and down) the P.S. Arial Tram (from Greg Purdy) and an amazing afternoon of drinks and dinner @ "Peaks" (by Executive Chef) John Fritch. UNBELIEVABLE FOOD, FUN, FELLOWSHIP AND FABULOUS VIEWS.....not to mention the Colorado Lamb and chocolate martini. www.pstramway.com.

#3 - Remembering "Schlemiel!! Schlimazel!!! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated"!!! and Cindy Williams on what would have been her 79th day Aug., 22, 2026. She went to join Laverne on Jan., 25, 2023. What a gal!!!!

#2 - Aug., 21, Jerry Keller's "Lulu California Bistro" celebrated its' 15th bday marking 15 years as one of downtown Palm Springs' most beloved dining and community gathering spots. What a gala VIP Reception and Ribbon cutting. www.lulupalmsprings.com.
