- MISSION STATEMENT: Because living life after cancer is tough. To inspire, inform, empower and help heal cancer survivors and their families through health, fitness and mind-body connection.
- REPORT that Shay’s Warriors provides tools and “Coffee and Connections” for support. Reminds folks to do their “self-care”. For cancer survivors and their support system.
- REPORT that Shay started this organization in 2017 because she is living “life after cancer”. NOT JUST FOR CANCER survivors, ALL ILLNESS SURVIVORS.
- DISCUSSION of how survivors and caregivers need special “care” during the Holidays.
- SAVE THE DATES:
- JAN., 31; 4 – 7 PM; 28th Annual Concert Series, w/ The “ABBA” Experience @ the Gardens on El Paseo.
- TEAM WALKERS meet for The Tour de Palm Springs, Sat., Feb.,7. Meet @ the Sonny Bono Statue, downtown P.S. @ 9:30 AM.
- MOVE TO HEAL - EVERY THURSDAY, - Gardens on El Paseo on the front lawn there will be FREE Thurs., “Move to Heal” classes from 9 to 10 AM. Yoga, meditation etc., FREE TO ANYONE. Register on-line. Bring water, a mat, a towel etc., All levels of 1. Yoga, 2. Mat Pilates, 3. Band and Boot Camp, and 4. Restorative Yoga Sound Bath.
- REPORT that now she also has a “Yo Bro” I AM BRAVE TOO group. Meets every 6 to 8 weeks.
- DISCUSSION of Coffee and Connection; 3RD. Sat., of every month @ Sottovoce Café and Wine Bar in Palm Desert. FREE.
- ASSOCIATION w/ the LiveWell Clinic in LaQuinta.
- DISCUSSION of the FREE RETREAT in June. Nominate on the website whomever you would like to go for FREE for 4 days and 3 nights @ the Ritz Carlton.
