RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK w/ Geo Lewis re: Caretaker (owner) of “Bootlegger Tiki” @ 1101 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm, Springs, CA. 92262. Tucked right behind Ernest Coffee.
- REPORT that Bootlegger Tiki is a tiki bar, w/ some snacks and a restaurant nearby.
- DISCUSSION of the 13 years it’s been at this location.
- DISCUSSION of the association w/ Don the Beachcombers in the 1950’s w/ all the history and atmosphere.
- DISCUSSION of the “flavor” of Hawaii, any islands, etc.
- REPORT that they can seat about 40 folks.
- REPORT that Geo “designs” the cocktails.

1. 9.11 – 13 COCKTAIL PREVIEW PARTY for the Tiki experience @ the Shag House @ 660 S. Compadre Road. Palm Springs. $95 for the tour and $150 for the evening portion of the tour on 9.12. Previewing 4 new drinks from the Bootlegger Tiki Bar.
