- DISCUSSION that the Joshua Trees need to have snow and sun. How it became a National Park. May be the only Wilderness that is also a Park. Only Congress can create a Wilderness. “leave no trace”.
– TODAY’S SUBJECT; Palm Trees
- DISCUSSION that the CV has two main species of Palms. 1. CA. fan palms are short and fat and froms stay on the palm (only palm NATIVE to CA.) should NOT be trimmed. 2. MEXICAN fan palm. (these froms come off easily) – DISCUSSION of whether or not to trim them.
