- DEFINITION; The Palm Springs Symphony is a nonprofit orchestral organization based in Palm Springs, Ca, serving as the Symphony-in-Residence at the historic Palm Springs Plaza Theatre. Founded in 2023, it enriches the cultural life of the Coachella Valley through live performances, education programs, and community outreach. The group emphasizes accessibility, offering both classical and contemporary music experiences for diverse audiences.
- MISSION STATEMENT; Palm Springs Symphony’s mission is to enhance and enrich the cultural fabric of Palm Springs and the surrounding region through artistic excellence and community engagement. It was established by co-founders Roger and Marilyn Benachowski and Tom Hartley, who envisioned a professional orchestra dedicated to both entertainment and education. - REPORT that next season there will be extensive programs for Children. i.e. over 100 students were guests @ the Elizabeth Pitcairn Symphony Concert. In May the Steinway Society is working w/ the Symphony on behalf of children.

1. May 9; 7:30 PM - May Musical Mischief; A symphony of Surprises w/ John Novacek. Focus on Mothers and Mother’s Day. Program will feature everything from Gershwin to Cartoon music, etc.
