PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT w/ Jake Ingrassia; Ex., Vice Pres & Chief Communications Officer of Palm Springs International Airport.

- REPORT that many yearly flights have returned EARLIER this year due to demand from last season.

- REPORT that the construction projects at the airport are going well; new escalators, 80 electric car charging stations etc.

- DISCUSSION of the “return” of the mid-century modern curbside benches i.e. Wexler, etc.

- DISCUSSIONS that International only applies to flights to and from Canada.

- REPORT that the Airport is working to get more extensive International accreditation because you have to have a facility attached to Customs to welcome international flights. Involving the government too.

- DISCUSSION of how many “direct” flights there are from PSP to SO MANY CITIES around the world.

- REPORT on how important it is to FLY OUT OF PSP because that improves the numbers that will SHOW we need more international flights.

- REPORT on new routes; many now year-round
