- REPORT that Animal Samaritans just participated in the Cathedral City LGBTQ+ Days Bed Parade & Bed Races.
- DISCUSSION that “Yappy Hour” is back for the Season. First Thurs., of each month @ the Riviera Hotel. Fun-raiser w/ Pet Parents who have friendly dogs on leashes. $20. Donation; wine, appetizers. Come even if you DO NOT have a pet. No adoptions at this event. This is social.
- REPORT on the Therapy Pets Volunteers Classes. You must take the class and pass a test. The work is in hospitals, libraries, schools, even COD during Finals, etc.
- HOLD THE DATES;
1. Mar., 15; Rattlesnake Aversion Class. 8 AM – 4:30 PM @ Animal Samaritans.
2. Mar., 25; Easter Bonnet Auction. 6 – 9 PM @ “849” Restaurant and Lounge.
- REPORT that the newly renovated Thousand Palms is open.
- DISCUSSION to check the website for events in March.
- REPORT on the Adoption fees are $90 for kitties and $250. for puppies.
- REPORT that volunteers are ALWAYS NEEDED.
