- REPORT that Travel and Leisure Magazine named City of Palm Desert one of the most WELCOMING CITIES.

2. REPORT on the Living Desert that has been nominated by USA Today as the best zoo in the Country. Link on www.livingdesert.org to vote. Especially their Australian Exhibit.

3. HOLD THE DATES:

- Mar., 13 – 18 – FASHION WEEK EL PASEO

- Mar., 19 – 21 – FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL in the tent @ the Gardens on El Paseo. There was a hosted dinner in NYC for P.D. Food and Wine!!!!

4. REPORT that applications are being accepted NOW for committees and commissions @ the City. Go to www.palmdesert.gov to see what is available. All Volunteer positions.

5. DISCUSSION that a new library will be built and the demolition of the old building is starting.
