PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT w/ Daniel Meier Re: Deputy Director of Aviation, Marketing & Air Service @ Palm Springs International Airport.

- REPORT that you can go to www.progresspsp.com and see the latest updates on the construction. i.e. new elevators and flight displays. Now there’s curbside seating. New “Duty Free” venue.

- PSP’s curbside now features two circular “UFO” bench planters, ten concrete benches, and six matching receptacles, all custom-made as exact replicas of the originals from the 1960’s design.

- REPORT that PSP Mid-Century construction is almost done. Worked w/ Gary Wexler (son of Don) to be certain every detail reflected PSP’s architectural roots while welcoming today’s travelers in style.

- REPORT that volunteer Navigators are needed.

- REPORT that there are 80 new electric vehicle charging stations being added, in Sec., B of the parking area. New escalators and elevators as well.

- REPORT on new routes;

1. – Alaska to Santa Rosa, CA.

2. – Delta and Southwest to Austin, TX.

3. – United to Newark, New Jersey.

4. – American to Charlotte, N.C.

5. - Southwest to Austin.

- DISCUSSION that Chicago and NYC year-round daily flights are in the works.

- DISCUSSION that a flight w/ ONLY 1 STOP…called Direct Flights, NOT non-stop.
