SHAY’S WARRIORS “LIFE AFTER CANCER” w/ Shay Moraga re: 42-215 Washington St., Ste. A389, Palm Desert, CA. 92211.
- MISSION STATEMENT: Because living life after cancer is tough. To inspire, inform, empower and help heal cancer survivors and their families through health, fitness and mind-body connection.
- REPORT that Shay’s Warriors provides tools and “Coffee and Connections” for support. Reminds folks to do their “self-care”. For cancer survivors and their support system.
- REPORT that Shay started this organization in 2017 because she is living “life after cancer”. NOT JUST FOR CANCER survivors, ALL ILLNESS SURVIVORS.
- DISCUSSION of how life changes after cancer.
- DISCUSSION of the “Move to Heal” classes in partnership w/ Eisenhower Health.
- SAVE THE DATES:
- EVERY THURSDAY, - Gardens on El Paseo on the front lawn there will be FREE Thurs., “Move to Heal” classes from 9 to 10 AM. Yoga, meditation etc., FREE TO ANYONE. Register on line. Bring water, a mat, a towel etc.,All levels of 1.Yoga, 2. Mat Pilates, 3.Band and Boot Camp, and 4. Restorative Yoga Sound Bath.
- REPORT that now she has a “Yo Bro” I AM BRAVE TOO group. Meets every 6 to 8 weeks.
- DISCUSSION of Coffee and Connection; 1st Sat., of every month @ Sottovoce Café and Wine Bar in Palm Desert. FREE.
