- DISCUSSION of where the Dr. went to school. He’s had 26 years @ Eisenhower.
- SUBJECT TODAY; Being healthy over Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Holidays this season.
- DISCUSSION of what’s going on in the Emergency Department right now; not quite flu season yet, but it’s coming. Flu starts in the Far East and comes Westward. Some flues are worse than others. This year the flu will not be as bad as in the past. Good treatments for the flu now.
- DISCUSSION that persons of risk SHOULD GET VACCINATED for Covid/Flu, anything you and your primary care physician decide on.
- DISCUSSION that persons of risk SHOULD BE AWARE of their intake of food, alcohol, drugs, anything. Dr. has seen TOO MANY HOLIDAY tragedies that affect the lives of people FOREVER.
- REPORT that golf carts cause quite a few accidents, w/ no seat belts, helmets etc., Also drinking and driving issues w/ golf carts.
- REPORT on how BAD THOSE PHONES ARE WHEN DRIVING.
- DISCUSSION that there are 100,000 visits a year and 40 plus staff. Patients come in the door, on helicopters, by ambulance, etc.
- REPORT that if you have to wait, because you are NOT the sickest person in the Emergency Room, in a way that is a blessings.
- DISCUSSION for a Happy Healthy Holiday Season; 1. Stay hydrated; 2. Talk a walk; 3. Be nice.
