- DISCUSSION that “Yappy Hour” is back for the Season. First Thurs., of each month @ the Riviera Hotel. Fun-raiser w/ Pet Parents who have friendly dogs on leashes. $20. Donation; wine, appetizers. Come even if you DO NOT have a pet. No adoptions at this event. This is social.

- REPORT on the Therapy Pets Volunteers Classes. You must take the class and pass a test. The work is in hospitals, libraries, schools, even COD during Finals, etc.

- REPORT that the newly renovated Thousand Palms is open.

- DISCUSSION to check the website for events in January and February.

1. REPORT on the 16th Annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon “Walk in the Park” 11 AM – 2 PM @ the P.S. Air Museum. Fashion show put on by Susan Stein. Made over $250,000.

2. SAVE THE DATE: Jan., 15; Yappy Hour @ the Riviera Resort and Spa, 1600 N. Indian Canyon Dr., Palm Springs.3. SAVE THE DATE: Sat., Dec., 27; 11 AM – 1 PM; Petco Adoption Event. 72453 Hwy., 111 Palm Desert.

3. SAVE THE DATE: Jan., 31 – Petco on Hwy., 111 in Palm Desert adoption event for puppies and dogs. 11 AM to 1 PM. All animal parents are vetted. There’s a “meet ‘n greet”.

- REPORT on the Adoption fees are $90 for kitties and $250. for puppies.

- REPORT that volunteers are ALWAYS NEEDED.
